Dr. Bhawani Gurung graduated from Peoples Dental College, TU, Nepal in 2005. Her pursuit of excellence made her further her knowledge in Periodontology and Implantology with Universal College of Medical Sciences, Bhairahawa in 2012.
Dr. Bhawani Gurung is associated with Nepal Police Hospital since 2009 and is currently consultant periodontics. She is actively involved in continuing professional programmes to share her knowledge and experiences with fellow colleagues.
She has a Special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Bodh Bikram Karki graduated from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal in 2007. He was awarded a Great Wall scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tianjin University (天津大学), China in 2013.
Dr. Bodh Bikram Karki is associated with Nepal Police Hospital since 2009 and is currently a consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS). Dr. Bodh with Dr. Saroj Singh has currently involved to uplift the pride of dentistry and make dentistry of Nepal recognized among fellow surgeons from Asia and around the world. Currently, they have initiated and performed surgery in tongue carcinoma spread to the neck for the first time with help from fellow plastic surgeons and ENT colleagues. Dr. Bodh is actively involved in continuing professional programs to share his knowledge and experiences with fellow colleagues.
He has a Special interest in Facial aesthetics and cosmetics.
Dr. Sanjay graduated with a degree in dentistry from B. P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, in 2005. He was awarded a Great Wall Scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Endodontics by the Government of China in School of Stomatology at Sichuan University (华西口腔，四川大学) in 2012. On completion of one year of Chinese Language and three years master’s degree, he was awarded a One Belt One Road initiative Scholarship to pursue a Doctorate degree in microendodontics by the Government of China at Sichuan University (华西口腔，四川大学) in 2016. He returned back to Nepal to serve as Endodontic Consultant in 2019.
Dr. Sanjay has served as consultant endodontics in reputed dental hospitals in Kathmandu. Dr. Sanjay is actively involved in continuing professional programs to share his knowledge with colleagues. He has conducted and attained workshops and lecturers to upgrade and share recent advances in endodontics.
Dr. Sanjay has published various articles in local and in peer-reviewed international journals. He has done a detailed study of pulp floor anatomy and root canal anatomy of maxillary second molars during his master’s thesis work. He has worked to understand polymicrobial biofilm and bacterial interactions. His work had made him understand the pathways to carve for the success of root canal treatment. His experience and expertise can be helpful in treating root canal cases with higher precision and prediction.
Apart from his clinical and academic works, Dr. Sanjay loves to work on Aesthetic Dentistry. Also, he is fond of photography and he loves to spend his free time reading self-help books and Novels.
Dr. Saroj Singh graduated from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal in 2007. He was awarded a Great Wall scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Chongqing University (重庆大学), China in 2013. He was awarded a scholarship for fellowship in AO CMF in Peking University (北京大学) in 2019.
